Good good times. Back in April 2009. I may have started this website in 2013 but I've been doing this for a long time :D
Another fun audition today. I got to see Leo there as well. Worked with him on the Dell Commercial awhile back. Always great to see a familiar face.
Fantastic day today. I had an audition at Trigger Studios in the morning. Always great to see everyone there. After the audition I went to a photoshoot at Crisiswear, https://www.crisiswear.com/.
Working with Andrew and Matt was such a breeze. They were extremely fun to work with. The conversations we had were funny and fantastic. They're really laid back which made the photoshoot a real pleasure. No stress.
As Ice Cube said, today was a good day.
I had a great time yesterday at a shoot at a new apartment building. It was pretty darn nice. The cast and crew that I worked with was fantastic. Shoutout to all the talent and the crew. The company I worked with was whyfour. www.whyfour.com. They were super chill and super easy to work with.
This time around there were no familiar faces but new faces. That's great too because now I've met new amazing people. I hope to work with all of you again Sumar (pronuced Summer), Audrey, Renee and Amaya.
Just came back from an audition today in downtown.
I saw David Je there. I worked with him many times but recently havn't seen him in awhile until today. Good seeing him again and I hope to work with him on a project one day. He's been doing very good getting gigs and stuff. I better not slack off. Gota pick up my gig game.
I fixed my teeth. That's the big news. Since I don't have my actors reel on here, which I SHOULD, you'll notice one of my teeth is slightly longer than the other. The good thing is that they're both fake. Everyone should know now that April 27th 2010 was when I fell off my bicycle and broke my teeth. So I got implants and the two front teeth are fake. Over the years, one tooth was starting to get longer or possibly the other tooth was getting shorter. Either way it left me with one SLIGHTLY longer tooth than the other but it was noticable enough for me to and everyone to notice. It was a real confidence killer for me when I watch videos that I'm in and I all I can see is that one longer tooth.
Went to the dentist today to get it shaved down and now, I'm feeling 100% more confident. That small change made a big difference. So thanks to #oradental in #chicago for helping me achieve this goal of mine that probably wasn't too hard but, I'm afraid of dentists. That makes it 1 million percent worst for me.
I also had an audition today. Let's see how that goes.
What a fun day yesterday. I had a photoshoot with Providence in Indiana. I played the role of a caregiver with another talent and the rest were the "retired" talent. The group was extremely fun to work with. Everyone was laid back, lots of jokes and great conversations were started and heard. I worked with one of the talent before and her name was Toni. Shout out to all the talent that I worked with yesterday. I'm sorry I can't remember all the names so instead of naming each on individually, I'll shoutout to everyone that was there.
Thanks to Ron though for helping me get out of my scrubs. I wasn't able to get out of my top because it was really tight haha. It went on smoothly but realized later in the day that my mobility in it was very limited, therefore I couldn't get it off me by myself. Too buff hahah... I wish.
Once again, no behind the scenes of me because I just plum forgot.
BMG you're putting me out there. Thank you!! You have been really good to me and an agency I can trust. No they didn't pay me to say this. :D
I mean I've only been with a total of 3 in my time as an actor/model. Over 10 years now. Models Inc in SF, Tangerine Talent in LA, and BMG with Chicago and so far BMG has really taken care of me. Models Inc as well way back then when I lived in SF. There was a year when I didn't hear from Models Inc and I was finding jobs on my own. Apparently it was a personal issue on their end. Something happened to the owner and I guess she was out of it for a year. We (the talent who were signed up with her) got an email from her saying she knew that in that past year, we haven't heard from her because of issues and she apologized and she was going to go full force to get us out there. And she kept her word, she didn't just get me auditions, she got me booked without having to go on auditions. THOSE ARE THE BEST! Being booked from just headshots. Then I moved to LA. That's a story for another time, maybe.
Thanks again BMG. I hope to be that one Asian guy in your talent pool that get's work for the both of us.
Had an audition today at IO theater. It was quite busy today but I saw Huey. Hopefully I spelled that right. In case you're wondering who he is, I worked with him on a Dell commercial last year. Great funny guy. I also saw another that worked on the Dell but I couldn't remember his name. He was also a great guy. The Dell commercial was the last time I saw the other great guy so it's been awhile. Hope you guys are doing great! Yes yes I said guys many times.
So why this failure. My first take I said my lines perfectly but didn't express it good enough so the person behind the camera, there were two ladies behind the camera and they were extremely nice and easy to talk to, gave me directions on how to say it, so I did my 2nd take and I completely forgot my 2nd line... instead I said something completely different!!! I still finished my script but instead of acting disinterested like she told me to, I think I looked more annoyed and pissed off.
So far this year, this has been my worst 2nd attempt at an attempt. I didn't leave the audition feeling bad or angry, instead I left laughing at myself. That's how you should go through these auditions in life. Laugh at yourself, don't beat yourself up. I laughed at what I said, which was "That's Totally Fine". That's way off from the script by a whole paragraph and many more syllables.

A goal of becoming an Actor and Model. :D
